Hard Reset ALCATEL TCL Xess. This tutorial will show you the easiest way to perform a factory reset operation in ALCATEL TCL Xess. Remove all personal data, customized settings and installed apps from your device. Before you can use Hard Reset always remember to make copies of your data.

How To Hard Reset ALCATEL TCL Xess?

  1. Hold down the Power key for a few seconds to turn off the tablet.
  2. Then start pressing Volume Up and Power buttons together for a couple of seconds.
  3. If the ALCATEL logo appears release the Power key.
  4. Let go of Volume Up when you see information about Recovery Mode.
  5. Now use Volume buttons to choose “English” and click the Power key once.
  6. In this mode select “wipe data/factory reset” by using Volume keys to navigate and the Power button to confirm that.
  7. After that choose “Yes” from the menu and click the Power key once.
  8. At the end select “reboot system now” by using the Power button.
  9. Success!

Please wait a few minutes until your phone restarts and you must complete the first settings to be able to use the device.
